Airport Security Fees

Design much more efficient and customer friendly controls

Each airline has a vital interest concerning safe transportation of passengers, crew and aircrafts to their destination. For the essential security controls of luggage and passengers at airports, a fee of two to ten euro per passenger is imposed by the government. These fees must be closely controlled as to not get out of hand. Instead, the airports and the Federal police are called to create more efficient and customer friendly controls and simultaneously decrease the high burden of fees. BARIG supports the use of latest technology for instance the partially automated border controls via EasyPASS. Existing safety concepts should be developed precisely and processes have to be optimized permanently. This leads to faster controls without safety limitations at airports and to an appreciable decrease of charges for the airlines and their passengers.
