BARIG member airlines are carrying about 4 million tons of freight through German airports every year. The world’s largest cargo airlines like e.g. AirBridgeCargo, DHL, Federal Express, Lufthansa Cargo and UPS are members of BARIG.
BARIG represents its airlines in conferences and meetings to strengthen the efforts for more efficiency and better processes in collaboration with relevant authorities.
The BARIG Air Cargo & Logistics Committee is focused on mid- to long-term topics in cargo business development. The main points of discussion are the general enhancement of airport facilities, the regulations and updates in security, customs and the administrative framework. Furthermore, the BARIG committee is working closely with the 'Air Cargo Community Frankfurt e.V.' for jointly pushing efficiency and lean processes with all relevant authorities.
