Job description

Whether our customers are traveling for business or pleasure, you are the professional in the airport that crafts important connections and encourages an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. You will be interacting with our international customers in our lobbies and at gates, helping them with ticketing, baggage, greeting customers as they start and end their journey and doing it with a smile. You will provide friendly, professional, confident, and insightful service to help resolve customer travel issues and make their experience memorable.

Main duties

Job Overview and Responsibilities
• Lead, direct and coach UA personnel (CSRs)
• Working in Airport Lobby, Gate and Baggage Service office
• Entails working with the ground handler to supervise ramp for all united flights and ensuring vendor compliance with all security requirements and regulations
• Meeting, boarding flights and assisting customers wherever required
• Other duties including back office administration, full operational supervision to ensure the smooth and professional service to our customers, both internal and external
• Full operation supervision of vendors and ensuring compliance with all security and safety requirements and regulations

Required experience

  • • High School Diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate
  • • Minimum of 2-3 years previous work experience in airport operations
  • • Professional image and appearance
  • • Strong communication skills
  • • Conflict resolution and decision making, with the ability to lead
  • • Must be fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
  • • Public contact / customer service experience
  • • Must be able to live and work in Germany/EU without visa sponsorship or support
  • • Must be able to work any shift/any day including holidays, weekends and/or nights as required by airport operations and flight schedule
  • • Attendance is required at work location
  • • International GSC qualified
