Job description

Supporting the Germany Finance Team in delivering high quality service, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processes of the Airline’s revenue, ensuring that records are kept up-to-date and fully compliant, while maintaining the efficiency of internal systems.

Main duties

Your key duties will include but are not limited to:

• Financial data analysis, including providing ad-hoc summaries as requested
• Timely preparation of financial statements/reports
• Maintaining efficient system of accounting records and financial files, allowing simple retrieval of reports/statistics
• Process ledger and booking entries in SAP according to stated procedures, to ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately
• Audit and verification of financial documents for processing
• Perform month- and year-end processes as advised by Head Office
• Reconciliations
• Credit Control
• Handling Agent Debit Memo (ADM) /Agent Credit Memo (ACM)
• Complete handling of enquiries, including all communication with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Other tasks as and when required or requested

Required experience

  • Degree-educated and/or certified professional qualification in finance/accounting-related field
  • Minimum two years’ work experience in a finance environment is preferable
  • Solid working knowledge and experience in SAP
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Team player, able to build and develop positive working relationships
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive with willingness to progress, can-do attitude and a problem solver
  • High level of numeracy and attentive to details
  • Negotiation, communication, organization and planning skills
  • Full professional working proficiency in German and English
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in Germany (without sponsorship)
