MANAGER FLIGHT OPERATIONS (m/f/d) – OPS MANUALS SUPPORT

Main duties

• Assisting the Head of Flight Operations Support, Fleet Chiefs, and other Fleet Managers in all administrative affairs, as well as operational and technical tasks
• Creation/processing/revision of the SEP manuals / CCOM in cooperation with the Technical Pilots and the Training department
• Supporting the processing/revision of the OM-B Airbus and Boeing, as well as the OM-A in cooperation with the Technical Authors and the Management Pilots
• Supporting the operation and administration of the Airbus FlySmart Software as well as the FOMAX Hosted Gateway (connectivity solution provided by Airbus and Collins)
• Creation of documentation for new aircraft/aircraft systems and technical changes
• Liaising with all operational departments (e.g., Crew Planning, Operations Control Center and Dispatch, Ground Operations, CAMO, Cabin Services)
• Taking on additional tasks and projects as needed

Required experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional qualification with relevant experience
  • Extensive process related know-how of flight operations
  • Outstanding knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Flying experience/license desirable
  • Willingness to acquire knowledge of new IT-systems and software
  • Knowledge of XR Aviation, FODM and FrameMaker desirable
  • Outstanding skills of verbal and written expression
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Strong analytical, conceptional and critical thinking skills desirable
  • Independent, reliable and responsible working method required
  • Flexibility, teamwork and commitment required
