Air Europa, the airline of Globalia, Spain’s largest tourism company, was founded four decades ago and has since spread its wings to lead transatlantic routes from its hub in Madrid, becoming the first choice for more than 12 million passengers annually.

With regular flights to over 55 destinations and a fleet of 57 aircraft, Air Europa joined the global SkyTeam alliance in 2007 and became the second airline in the world to obtain the EMAS sustainability certification, the most demanding in the European Union.
Air Europa was also the first Spanish airline to complete the ETOPS flight, and with the arrival of its first Dreamliner, it became a symbol of environmental responsibility and advocacy.
Air Europa operates the most modern and efficient fleet, led by the Dreamliners on international routes. It was the first airline in Spain to operate the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and covers all medium- and short-haul routes with the Boeing 737-8, having also been the first Spanish airline to operate the Boeing 737 MAX. Its subsidiary, Air Europa Express, operates with Boeing 737 aircraft.
