• Somon Air is an IATA airline in the Republic of Tajikistan. The headquarters of the airline is in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Most flights operate to and from Dushanbe International Airport.

  Somon Air was founded in February 2008 and started its operation with a B737-800 from Dushanbe to Moscow and return.
  
  In the summer of 2009, Somon Air opened the roundtrip route from Dushanbe to Frankfurt. During the last ten years Somon Air has operated flights to and from Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the Russian Federation, China, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, with its B737 fleet.
  
  In 2015 Somon Air received a Boeing Award for High Technical On Time Performance. In 2016 Somon Air successfully passed its first IATA Audit and became an IATA Member in 2017.
