Deutsche Bahn is new BARIG business partner

With Deutsche Bahn, another important mobility provider has become an official partner of BARIG.

With Deutsche Bahn, another important mobility provider has become an official business partner of the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG) and its around 100 national and international member airlines. BARIG offers business partners an attractive platform to intensify the dialogue between companies and airline representatives from all over the world, thereby developing project initiation and solution-finding processes.

„Today, modern mobility always incorporates intermodality. The efficient interplay between rail, road and flight plays a central role in modern transportation infrastructure. For this reason, the cooperation with Deutsche Bahn is essential for optimized mobility services. We are therefore pleased to welcome Deutsche Bahn as a new BARIG business partner,“ Secretary General Michael Hoppe states.

BARIG is the largest Board of Airline Representatives worldwide. BARIG’s business partners derive from various economic sectors including Mobility, Coaching & Consulting Services, Hotels, Legal / Advocate / Notary, Services, and Technology & Innovation.

Kay Hellwig, Head of touristic cooperations at Deutsche Bahn, about the business partnership: “For a long time we are maintaining close and positive partnerships on various levels with a number of airlines – the most known cooperation is certainly the ‘Rail&Fly’ offer which is well established in the market since 27 years. The BARIG business partnership suits us perfectly to extend existing and to develop new cooperations.”
