Travelport becomes new business partner of BARIG

Travelport is now a business partner of BARIG.

Travelport, a leading travel commerce platform provider, is now a business partner of the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG). The association BARIG has around 100 national and international member airlines operating in Germany. As a global end-to-end, travel booking technology service provider, Travelport will regularly provide key technology transformation updates and innovative techniques around redefining travel commerce for the global travel ecosystem.

Travelport has acknowledged the potential that lies in intense and constructive dialogue,” BARIG General Secretary Michael Hoppe states. „As a business partner, Travelport is now integrated into our communication and can, for instance, present pioneering technological developments. At the same time, the introduction of Travelport has initiated the opening of the business partner segment ‘Technology & Innovation’ within BARIG, thereby increasing our expertise in this area.“
